Here is a link to our thoroughly researched and documented history of how the advocates of stealth euthanasia have created and developed today’s palliative care to be their tool for changing how we die in America.

LifeTree’s research over the last 25 years has been about this problem which has still not received much public attention.  We have been duped into accepting a new culture about dying!  LifeTree has documented the takeover of America’s healthcare system from the private healthcare/traditional fee-for-service model to a public health/community-based palliative care model.

My husband, Doug Wickham, delivered this talk to the Catholic Media Coalition in Nov, 2015.   It is even more important to read now because much of their scheme for change has come to pass.

Very gradually over five decades the Third Path wing of the euthanasia movement has been changing how we die in America.   They are close to their goal — to make their version of End of Life Care mandatory.

In 1983, Daniel Callahan of the Hastings Center wrote about a problem.  “Denial of nutrition may, in the long run, become the only effective way to make certain that a large number of biologically tenacious patients actually die.”  He also observed that a “deep seated revulsion” existed then over the prospect of withholding or withdrawing nutrition and hydration.  They set about to change that revulsion and have largely succeeded.

Please save the link and take the time to read and understand the information in the transcript of this talk.  Their overall program has not changed in kind, only in detail.  We can resist their program only if we are well informed.

We call upon the Holy Ghost for understanding and fortitude,
